Located in historic Coalmont in the picturesque Tulameen River valley, the Mozey-On-Inn is a themed 3-unit Motel, offering a unique accommodation experience. The Bank and Saloon each sleep two, while four can lodge in the Barbershop, which comes complete with Kitchenette. The Mozey-On-Inn is pleased to offer free wireless internet (WiFi) for the use of our guests. Your hosts, Diane and Bob Sterne will do everything possible to make your stay in the Similkameen area a pleasant one. For your convenience, a separate, up-to-date availability calendar is located at the bottom of each room page. Check back often, as cancellations do occur!
For our guests' enjoyment, we offer a private courtyard with fireplace and barbecue facilities. On clear summer evenings, away from the city lights, you can marvel at the Milky Way and see millions of stars. Our playground will keep young visitors occupied. Guests of all ages can challenge each other to an old-fashioned game of horseshoes. You can relive the excitement of the Gold Rush days by panning within walking distance on the Tulameen River. Come and stake your claim on one of our rooms by the night or week. Friendly, house-trained pets are welcome.
Coalmont is located 1.5 km. from the Granite Creek Ghost Town and Cemetery; 8 km. from Tulameen and Otter Lake; and 19 km. from Princeton. We are only 150 metres from the popular Trans Canada Trail (old Kettle Valley Railway). The Tulameen River (one of only two rivers in the world where you can go prospecting for platinum nuggets as well as gold) is a short 300 metres away. Rich in mining history, the remains of the old Blakeburn townsite are located 8 km. southwest of Coalmont.
The Coalmont area is a popular getaway for: ATVing, camping, geocaching, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, picnicing, swimming, boating, water-skiing, golfing, rock hunting, backroad exploring, fishing, hunting, gold panning, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Within easy driving distance you can visit: Historic Hedley with its “Vertical Adventure” Mining Tour; Keremeos, the Fruit-Stand Capital of B.C.; and many of the old KVR Stations including Bankier and Brookmere with its original wooden water tower. The Similkameen Valley is a true hidden treasure just waiting for you to explore.
